Episode 45. Sex Lives of the Potato Men

Matthew Gray (@clockworkwriter) has a quest: some people think it’s a noble quest, most people would rather eat their own sick than hear another word of it, but he doesn’t care. He’s come this far, lost so many friends, but by God he’s going to get someone to watch Sex Lives of the Potato Men and commit it to posterity by talking about it in front of microphones. If it has to be the One Good Thing boys then so be it. Who knows, there might even be one of those Good Things if they look hard enough. It matters not. Just talk about the fish sandwiches already. They’re recommending we have a bally good old watch to savour up all the good things like a young filly who [indecipherable lecherous mumbling]. Well, I’ve heard some jolly good things about this one, and now we’ve got that Brexit ruddy well sewn up I believe I’ve all the time in the world. Enjoy! Episode 43. The One Spooky Thing: the Halloween Franchise (except the remakes)

Good moaning maladies and dementedmen, we hope you like s-s-s-scaaary films, because we decided to look at two of them today. That's right: we're doing a one spooky thing about Halloween: the franchise! Not the remakes though. Basically one Paul likes horror films and has decided to make every Halloween a truly terrifying experience by forcing the other Paul to watch everything even remotely related to it, then talk at length about them when he'd rather just watch the Royal Tenenbaums again. Woooooooooooo!

Episode 42. Batman and Robin

Thanks to TV In Space (@TVinspace) the Pauls are pushed kicking screaming into the acid vats they have down at DC nowadays and emerge moments later with some unconvincing makeup and an inexplicable desire to sink their teeth into Batman. Unfortunately Bruce Wayne isn't taking visitors so they went online and rented a copy of Batman and Robin, tucked into a family bucket of Häagen-Dazs and bitched about billionaires all night. What came out? A couple of good things. Featuring: ice cold puns, toxic innuendo, a bat thing, Richard's name is Dick and one triumphant mess.

Several weeks ago one Paul saw Valerian and liked it. Then he told the other Paul to go see it and this Paul liked it so much that he thought about defending it, kind of. This is that. Episode 40 is all the things we like about Valerian! This week the Pauls disobey a direct order and go blam on the hyperdrive. Long story short is that they ended up lost in a very specific space where loopy sci-fi concepts were buttoned down with double denim and chased with an ice cold Pepsi just in time for Take That to come and shake their frosted tips to a Balearic dance beat. That's right: the Pauls are lost in the nineties and everyone just thinks they went out for milk. Oh well. Let's watch another stinker and find some one good things. In space!
